At the feet of Jesus
At His feet I sit and wait.
For only good does He create.
My eyes transfixed upon His face,
As I rest inside His warm embrace.
The world tells me I have no worth,
That I'm an accident, not made with earth.
But this I know to be true.
My God created me and you.
At his feet I sit and wait,
To love my brothers instead of hate.
My hope set firm upon the Rock,
To teach the sheep and guard the flock.
For without love I am a gong,
Ringing for no reason, the whole night long.
But this I know to be true.
That without Him love cannot accrue.
At His feet I sit and wait,
For He alone will make my path straight.
My life I've thrown down at His feet.
My will now tuned to His heartbeat.
This life we live can be so hard,
Can leave us wounded, shattered and scared.
But this I know to be true,
With the love of Jesus we live life a new!
